Our Story

our story starts back in 2016 when our founder - Mr. shayanton Mukherjee came to Mumbai to look up towards his big aspirations and dreams. he started by selling home decor products like lamps, curtains, chandeliers and more through a brand called 'the Decor House'. soon enough, he saw a raging opportunity for the home interior markets in 2018 and that was when studio niwas first came into being.

with humongous setbacks and even the pandemic hitting hard, shayanton did not step back. he was determined to build studio niwas and that's where he started partnering with family businesses in the localities of Mumbai who had legacies going back more than 30 years. this partnership then developed and emerged into that brand that we all love today -

Studio Niwas.
